For as long as I can remember, I have always yearned to be a mother and have a family of my own. However, my journey into parenthood was filled with its own set of challenges and emotional hurdles. From the struggles of infertility and the physical demands of IVF to the unexpected turns during childbirth and the trials of solo parenting, my path was not what I had envisioned.
Throughout these experiences, I found myself carrying a heavy burden of emotions associated with pregnancy, births, and parenting. The weight of anxiety, sadness, and even post-natal depression weighed me down, affecting not only my own well-being but also my ability to connect with others and navigate the complexities of motherhood.
It was during this challenging time that I discovered Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a powerful and transformative tool that would forever change my life. EFT, also known as tapping, combines elements of psychology and acupressure to release negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and patterns that no longer serve us. Intrigued by its potential, I embarked on a journey of healing and self-discovery.
Through EFT, I tapped on my birth story, the emotional impact of moving away from loved ones, the challenges of divorce, and the struggles of co-parenting. With each tapping session, I felt a release of negative emotions and a newfound sense of clarity and resilience. EFT allowed me to take charge of my own well-being, let go of toxic relationships and work environments, and heal the wounds within myself.
Inspired by my own transformative experience, I became a Certified EFT Practitioner. Today, I am honoured to support other pre- and post-partum mothers on their own healing journeys. As an educator and a mother myself, I understand the daily pressures and challenges we face. I offer a safe and compassionate space for mothers to release their own emotional burdens, embrace self-care, and find a renewed sense of balance and empowerment.
EFT has become my guiding light, allowing me to navigate difficult situations with calmness and confidence. I have learned that our inner work is never complete, and there is always room for growth and self-discovery. By embracing our own journeys and releasing what no longer serves us, we can create a life we truly deserve—one filled with love, light, and tapping.
So, mothers, I encourage you not to be ashamed of your journey but to embrace it fully. Seek out the support you need and know that healing is possible. You deserve to experience the joys of motherhood and live a life that is balanced, fulfilled and aligned with your truest self.
