How EFT Tapping Helped Karen Reconnect With Herself

At this year's Woolgoolga Wellbeing Expo, I had a lovely reminder of why I do this work. One of my long-term clients, Karen Rantissi, stopped by for a quick EFT Tapping session. After only two rounds of tapping, she felt an immediate sense of calm, as though her mind and body instinctively remembered the process. I asked if she'd share a little about her EFT journey, and these are her reflections.

What made you decide to try EFT Tapping?

I believe in the proverb, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” Just like you might be reading this now, I kept noticing EFT posters and stories. Something about it resonated with me, and I trusted my intuition that this was the right path.

What were you struggling with before your sessions?

I was completely burnt out. I resembled a walking piece of charcoal! Emotionally and creatively, I had hit rock bottom. I was working so hard just to keep my head above water that I was exhausting myself even more. I think many readers will relate to that feeling.

What was your first experience of tapping like?

I was sceptical at first. Could tapping really help? I left my first appointment feeling listened to, understood, supported and, most importantly, like myself again. There is something powerful about combining the physical process of tapping with Nat's remarkable ability to truly listen.

What surprised you most about EFT Tapping?

During one session I was experiencing intense back pain. After scans, X-rays, medication and countless appointments, I still had no answers. Nat invited me to explore what might be contributing to the pain through EFT. The shift was remarkable. Not only did the pain ease, but I also gained a deeper understanding of what my body had been trying to tell me.

In three words, how would you describe your EFT journey?

Healing. Energising. Reconnecting.

What would you say to someone who's curious but unsure about trying EFT?

Invest in your wellbeing. You're worth it.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, exhibitors and everyone who attended Woolgoolga Wellness Expo and helped make the day such a wonderful community event special.
